I am in the military and needed a bag that was functional and in regulation. It gets the job done. I would say I’ve had weird fraying more frequently than I would have expected with a new bag, easily fixed with scissors and a lighter. It fits a lot of things. I carry around two heavy laptops and miscellaneous items and everything fits without being too bulky. Overall good bag. Hopefully it lasts awhile.
Love the Blackhawk tactical backpack, used for a 24 hour shift and it held all my gear, toiletries, bedding, and even books, I didn’t get to all of the other clothing I stored away in there, definitely coulda went another day (Hence 3 Day Assault Pack) with room to spare. With all the big compartments it could use some pockets for chargers and other smaller items inside the smaller main compartment.
I travel a lot and often only for no more than 3-4 days. I carry a small HF radio, battery, antenna, my laptop AND tablet, and clothes and toiletries. I have added a couple side pouches for accessories. its not light with everything i put in it but it holds nearly everything I need on these trips and still fits in the overhead compartment on the plane.
This is an awesome blackhawk Bag/Pack, or my son in law has same one he uses for a med pack bag in his truck. Great quality, great feel, fits all my gear, and the US Flag patch is a nice B/A touch.
I'm using this for my go-back, and it's incredibly roomy for its size, with just the right assortment of pockets, and plenty of webbing for attaching accessories. It's a very practical pack.
